This place suits me perfectly. Free wi-fi in rooms, cozy bar/lounge, and comfortable beds make my stay enjoyable. On my first visit, the staff helped with my room issue even at night, which I appreciated. I highly recommend it and can't wait to return for Christmas!

The superior double room featured crisp bed linen and large, fluffy towels that enhanced comfort. Its cozy decor and warm ambiance made it inviting, allowing us to feel at home right away, even if it was a bit muggy outside.
It's something to consider for anyone not ready for a workout. Hallways and stair carpets appeared dusty, which might not bother everyone but left a less-than-ideal impression, especially since I spotted a few spiders, which made the room feel less fresh to me. Lastly, the free parking is located at the bottom of a steep slope, leading many to pay for alternative parking instead.

I recently enjoyed my stay here, where I was treated to delicious breakfasts and a cozy room with views that made my mornings brighter. I was thrilled to discover that I could easily walk to the stunning Wansfell Pike within less than a 20-minute stroll, as well as the charming cafes and shops just a short 5-minute walk away.

Charming stay with great brekkie!
Just spent 4 nights here and it was awesome! The room was super comfy and clean. The owners were really friendly. The breakfast options were delish, especially the homemade jams. Only thing was the shower could’ve used a bit more pressure, but still a great spot for all the walking trails nearby.

The unique charm of the hotel shines through its tasteful decor and carefully organized guest services, creating a cozy atmosphere. Convenience of having fresh milk available for tea at any hour adds a thoughtful touch to the experience.
Some rooms suffer from inadequate cleaning, with common areas like hallways showing a layer of dust that detracts from the overall experience. Humidity in the rooms made it uncomfortable, as laundry items struggled to dry within a few days. Limited breakfast hours could be inconvenient for those wanting to relax over a meal. Awkward shower layouts due to low ceilings might make things tricky for taller guests.
